Edmonds-Woodway Games to be Broadcast Online by My Edmonds

Mason Kelley at the Seattle Times posted this press release today, that My Edmonds will broadcast Edmonds-Woodway games live online this season.

My Edmonds News, Edmonds’ locally-owned resource for online community news, announced today that it will be providing live broadcasts of Edmonds-Woodway High School football games that can be heard by anyone with an Internet connection.

Warrior Radio presented by Edmonds Community College will begin with the first game of the Edmonds-Woodway High School football season, which kicks off at 5 p.m. this Friday, Sept. 2 vs. Monroe.

Both home and away games will be webcast through the following URL: www.myedmondsnews.com/warrior-radio. Not only are the games covered live, but they are also archived for later listening.

This is just the latest of high school games being broadcast live online, apart from local radio stations.  RoyalHighSports.com has streamed Royal Knights Football since at least 2008, as had ZillahSports.com for Zillah games. Last season, KSTVOnline broadcast live VIDEO of King’s games.

These are just three off the top of my head, please leave a comment below if you know of any other schools broadcasting.
